The Middle Age (Perimenopausal) shift doesn't come with instructions

Somewhere between the diaper bag, the career and the appointments, a lot of us lost track of who we actually are.

Not the version of us we were before adulthood, marriage, kids.

Someone new.

The reality is that we have changed.

Who we were before the career, the responsibilities, kids, the wisdom, the hard seasons, is not someone who stands before us today.

Yet we keep acting as if we're still 20 years old, and not allowed to change.

Humans by nature do not like change.

But middle age has a funny way of smacking us in the face and waking us up.

Perimenopause in particular is a real wake up call.

But it is also an invitation to meet and nurture this new version of you.

Someone this season is trying to introduce you to, if you can slow down long enough to meet her.

And if you're like me, trying to figure out "Who Am I?", your best best may be to look to someone else for inspiration.

The North Star theory came out of my attempt to understand myself by looking to who I am being drawn to.

Everything I previously enjoyed, was gone! My interests, my goals, my hustle, was all gone.

So I randomly started to focus on what I did enjoy.

What people, ideas, images seem to call to me as a woman in my 40's?

Who is a guiding light that can help me better understand myself.

I used my background in Psychology and as a therapist, to become curious and to come up with some questions for myself every day.

I also used my belief in a Higher Power to guide and inspire me, as I surrendered to the idea that I had no idea what was going on with me.

And I created this blueprint for myself.

By focusing on my North Star, I was able to begin to anchor myself, during those first scary, tumultuous and disorienting months, when nothing felt safe and predictable.

The North Star Quiz is a guided set of questions to help you better understand yourself.

The North Star Workbook is a quiet, guided space to figure out who that is.

No blank pages, no "just journal about it" pressure - just prompts, word banks, and a few honest questions designed for a brain that's already full and confused.

What's inside:
- A short quiz to help you name what's actually changing in you right now
- A guided archetype process to identify the woman you're becoming (not performing)
- Simple language for the identity shift happening underneath the to-do list
